It is likely that this figure represented deified ancestors and would have stood at the base of interior house posts. This figure is an especially early and rare example and dates prior to the period of missionary activity.

This image is well preserved though it has been emasculated and the feet are damaged at the front and back. The hair which formerly would have covered the back of the head is missing.
